After breakfast, you will enjoy a boat tour to Kangeq. This was once a traditional fishing village in Southwestern Greenland, abandoned in the 1980s. It takes around an hour to reach Kangeq, with the journey equally memorable as your boat will pass through beautiful mountains and even catch a glimpse of the arctic wildlife, including seals and whales. You’ll pass through abandoned homes that are nothing short of a museum tour. The guide will explain the consequences of politics during the 1950s and 1960s when people were forced to abandon these villages to move to the big cities. You’ll also learn about Aron of Kangeq, an Inuit hunter and painter who chronicled the myths and stories of Greenland. Return to your hotel to spend the night at Nuuk.

Today, begin your adventure at Ilulissat Harbour with a full-day tour of the Eqip Sermia glacier, one of Greenland's largest calving glaciers. This impressive glacier spans over 4 kilometers in width and rises 200 meters above the water. Depending on your chosen package, you can either stay near the glacier or opt to hike to the moraine at Eqi Glacier.
